स पुण्यशीलः पितृवन महात्मा; तपस्विभिर धर्मपरैर उपेत्य परत्यर्चितः पुष्पधरस्य मूले; महाद्रुमस्यॊपविवेश राजा ॥ ३-२५-२४ ॥
'The illustrious and virtuous king, greeted warmly by the ascetics, took his seat in their midst at the base of a grand, flower-adorned tree, much like his father Pandu had done in times past.' ॥ 3-25-24 ॥
