संज्ञा मॊहश च पततां रजसा च परधर्षणम परम्लानेषु च माल्येषु ततः पिपतिषॊर भयम ।। ३-२४७-३१ ।।

sanskrit

'And the consciousness of those who are about to fall becomes clouded, agitated by emotions. As the garlands of those on the verge of falling wither, fear invades their hearts.' ।। 3-247-31 ।।

english translation

saMjJA mòhaza ca patatAM rajasA ca paradharSaNama paramlAneSu ca mAlyeSu tataH pipatiSòra bhayama || 3-247-31 ||

आ बरह्मभवनाद एते दॊषा मौद्गल्य दारुणाः नाकलॊके सुकृतिनां गुणास तव अयुतशॊ नृणाम ।। ३-२४७-३२ ।।

'These significant drawbacks, O Mudgala, extend even to the regions of Brahma. In the celestial realms, the virtues of those who have performed righteous acts are countless.' ।। 3-247-32 ।।

A barahmabhavanAda ete dòSA maudgalya dAruNAH nAkalòke sukRtinAM guNAsa tava ayutazò nRNAma || 3-247-32 ||

अयं तव अन्यॊ गुनः शरेष्ठश चयुतानां सवर्गतॊ मुने शुभानुशय यॊगेन मनुष्येषूपजायते ।। ३-२४७-३३ ।।

'And, O Muni, this is another attribute of the fallen: by virtue of their merits, they take birth among humans. And then, through their righteous deeds, they attain high fortune and happiness.' ।। 3-247-33 ।।

ayaM tava anyò gunaH zareSThaza cayutAnAM savargatò mune zubhAnuzaya yògena manuSyeSUpajAyate || 3-247-33 ||
