इह यत करियते कर्म तत्परत्रॊपभुज्यते कर्मभूमिर इयं बरह्मन फलभूमिर असौ मता ॥ ३-२४७-३५ ॥

'Whatever action is performed here, its results are enjoyed in the next world. This world, O Brahmana, is considered the field of action, and the other world is the field of its fruits.' ।। 3-247-35 ।।
