तान अवेक्ष्य कृशान पौत्रान वने वन्येन जीवतः महर्षिर अनुकम्पार्थम अब्रवीद बाष्पगद्गदम ॥ ३-२४५-११ ॥

'Seeing his grandsons emaciated, surviving on the meager offerings of the forest, the great sage, overwhelmed with compassion, spoke in a voice choked with emotion ' ।। 3-245-11 ।।

tAna avekSya kRzAna pautrAna vane vanyena jIvataH maharSira anukampArthama abravIda bASpagadgadama ॥ 3-245-11 ॥
