न चानार्य समाचारः कश चित तत्र भविष्यति न च तत्र गमिष्यामॊ यत्र तेषां परतिश्रयः ।। ३-२२८-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'We have no desire to see the sons of Pandu. We will not go to the place where they have made their residence, and therefore, no act of misconduct will arise from us.' ।। 3-228-21 ।।

english translation

na cAnArya samAcAraH kaza cita tatra bhaviSyati na ca tatra gamiSyAmò yatra teSAM paratizrayaH || 3-228-21 ||

'Vaisampayana continued, "Thus addressed by Sakuni, that lord of men, Dhritarashtra, reluctantly granted permission to Duryodhana and his counsellors to go to the designated place."' ।। 3-228-22 ।।

'Permitted by the monarch, the Bharata prince, born of Gandhari, set out, accompanied by Karna and surrounded by a vast host.' ।। 3-228-23 ।।

'As the mighty-armed prince set out to behold the lake known as Dwaitavana, the citizens of Hastinapura, accompanied by their wives, began to follow him toward the forest.' ।। 3-228-25 ।।
