[वै] एवम उक्तः शकुनिना धृतराष्ट्रॊ जनेश्वरः दुर्यॊधनं सहामात्यम अनुजज्ञे न कामतः ॥ ३-२२८-२२ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "Thus addressed by Sakuni, that lord of men, Dhritarashtra, reluctantly granted permission to Duryodhana and his counsellors to go to the designated place."' ॥ 3-228-22 ॥
