कृतं मताक्षेण यथा न साधु साधु; परवृत्तेन च पाण्डवेन मया च दुष्पुत्र वशानुगेन; यथा कुरूणाम अयम अन्तकालः ।। ३-२२५-२४ ।।

sanskrit

'Not well done by Matsya's son (Virata), nor by the Pandava who has acted, nor by me, who follows the dictates of a wicked son (Duryodhana) - this is how the final time (end) of the Kurus has come about.' ।। 3-225-24 ।।

english translation

kRtaM matAkSeNa yathA na sAdhu sAdhu; paravRttena ca pANDavena mayA ca duSputra vazAnugena; yathA kurUNAma ayama antakAlaH || 3-225-24 ||
