शतं महिषतुल्यानां दानवानां तवया रणे निहतं देवशत्रूणां यैर वयं पूर्वतापिताः ॥ ३-२२१-७४ ॥
'You have killed in battle hundreds of Danavas, equal in valor to Mahisha, who were once hostile to us and caused us great distress. And your followers, too, have devoured them by the hundreds.' ॥ 3-221-74 ॥
