कषिप्ताक्षिप्ता तु सा शक्तिर हत्वा शत्रून सहस्रशः सकन्द हस्तम अनुप्राप्ता दृश्यते देवदानवैः ॥ ३-२२१-६७ ॥

sanskrit

'It was observed by both the gods and the Danavas that Skanda repeatedly hurled his sakti on the battlefield, and after slaying thousands of the enemy, it returned to his hands.' ॥ 3-221-67 ॥

english translation

kaSiptAkSiptA tu sA zaktira hatvA zatrUna sahasrazaH sakanda hastama anuprAptA dRzyate devadAnavaiH ॥ 3-221-67 ॥
