अथाभिद्रुत्य महिषॊ देवांश चिक्षेप तं गिरिम पतता तेन गिरिणा देवसैन्यस्य पार्थिव भीमरूपेण निहतम अयुतं परापतद भुवि ।। ३-२२१-५४ ।।

sanskrit

'But Mahisha pursued them, hurling the hillock at the celestial forces. And, O lord of the world, when that massive rock fell, it crushed ten thousand warriors of the celestial army, and they breathed their last on the battlefield.' ।। 3-221-54 ।।

english translation

athAbhidrutya mahiSò devAMza cikSepa taM girima patatA tena giriNA devasainyasya pArthiva bhImarUpeNa nihatama ayutaM parApatada bhuvi || 3-221-54 ||
