संभूतं लॊहितॊदे तु शॊक्र शेषम अवापतत सूर्यरश्मिषु चाप्य अन्यद अन्यच चैवापतद भुवि आसक्तम अन्यद वृक्षेषु तद एवं पञ्चधापतत ॥ ३-२२०-११ ॥
'A portion of it fell into the Blood Sea, another portion into the rays of the sun, and another upon the earth; thus, it was distributed into five portions.' ॥ 3-220-11 ॥
