वयं पुत्र परित्यक्ता भर्तृभिर देव संमितैः अकारणाद रुषा तात पुण्यस्थानात परिच्युताः ॥ ३-२१९-३ ॥
'We, O son, have been cast out by our god-like husbands, without any cause. Some have spread the rumor that we gave birth to thee. Believing this falsehood, they became greatly indignant and banished us from our sacred places.' ॥ 3-219-3 ॥
