[मार्क] शरिया जुष्टं महासेहं देव सेनापतिं कृतम सप्तर्षिपत्न्यः षड देव्यस तत सकाशम अथागमन ॥ ३-२१९-१ ॥
'Markandeya continued, "When those six ladies, the wives of the seven Rishis, learned that good fortune had favored Mahasena and that he had been appointed leader of the celestial forces, they went to his camp."' ॥ 3-219-1 ॥
english translation
ऋषिभिः संप्ररित्यक्ता धर्मयुक्ता महाव्रताः दरुतम आगम्य चॊचुस ता देव सेनापतिं परभुम ॥ ३-२१९-२ ॥
'Those virtuous ladies, of high religious merit, had been disowned by the Rishis. Without delay, they went to the leader of the celestial forces and addressed him.' ॥ 3-219-2 ॥
english translation
वयं पुत्र परित्यक्ता भर्तृभिर देव संमितैः अकारणाद रुषा तात पुण्यस्थानात परिच्युताः ॥ ३-२१९-३ ॥
'We, O son, have been cast out by our god-like husbands, without any cause. Some have spread the rumor that we gave birth to thee. Believing this falsehood, they became greatly indignant and banished us from our sacred places.' ॥ 3-219-3 ॥
english translation
अस्माभिः किल जातस तवम इति केनाप्य उदाहृतम असत्यम एतत संश्रुत्य तस्मान नस तरातुम अर्हसि ॥ ३-२१९-४ ॥
'It has been said by someone that you were born to us, but this is false. Upon hearing this lie, you are now obliged to save us from this calamity.' ॥ 3-219-4 ॥

अक्षयश च भवेत सवर्गस तवत्प्रसादाद धि नः परभॊ तवां पुत्रं चाप्य अभीप्सामः कृत्वैतद अनृणॊ भव ॥ ३-२१९-५ ॥
'We wish to adopt you as our son, so that, O mighty being, eternal bliss may be secured to us through your favor. Thus, do repay the obligation you owe to us.' ॥ 3-219-5 ॥
