अभिषिच्यस्व देवानां सेनापत्ये महाबल अहम इन्द्रॊ भविष्यामि तव वाक्यान महाबल ॥ ३-२१८-२१ ॥
'Be consecrated as the leader of the celestial forces, O mighty one. I shall become Indra, as per your powerful words.' ॥ 3-218-21 ॥
english translation
abhiSicyasva devAnAM senApatye mahAbala ahama indrò bhaviSyAmi tava vAkyAna mahAbala ॥ 3-218-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[सकन्द] दानवानां विनाशाय देवानाम अर्थसिद्धये गॊब्राह्मणस्य तराणार्थं सेनापत्ये ऽभिषिञ्च माम ॥ ३-२१८-२२ ॥
'Skanda replied, "Anoint me as the leader, for the destruction of the Danavas, for the welfare of the celestials, and for the protection of cows and Brahmanas."' ॥ 3-218-22 ॥

[sakanda] dAnavAnAM vinAzAya devAnAma arthasiddhaye gòbrAhmaNasya tarANArthaM senApatye 'bhiSiJca mAma ॥ 3-218-22 ॥

'Markandeya continued, "Consecrated by Indra and all the other gods, and revered by the great sages, he appeared resplendent and majestic in that moment."' ॥ 3-218-23 ॥

[mArka] sò 'bhiSiktò maghavatA sarvaira devagaNaiH saha atIva zuzubhe tatra pUjyamAnò maharSibhiH ॥ 3-218-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्य तत काञ्चनं छत्रं धरियमाणं वयरॊचत यथैव सुसमिद्धस्य पावकस्यात्म मण्डलम ॥ ३-२१८-२४ ॥
'The golden umbrella held above his head gleamed like the radiant halo of a blazing fire.' ॥ 3-218-24 ॥

tasya tata kAJcanaM chatraM dhariyamANaM vayaròcata yathaiva susamiddhasya pAvakasyAtma maNDalama ॥ 3-218-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविश्वकर्म कृता चास्य दिव्या माला हिरण्मयी आबद्धा तरिपुरघ्नेन सवयम एव यशस्विना ॥ ३-२१८-२५ ॥
'The renowned god, the Conqueror of Tripura, personally fastened around his neck the celestial golden wreath crafted by Vishvakarma.' ॥ 3-218-25 ॥

vizvakarma kRtA cAsya divyA mAlA hiraNmayI AbaddhA taripuraghnena savayama eva yazasvinA ॥ 3-218-25 ॥
