[सकन्द] दानवानां विनाशाय देवानाम अर्थसिद्धये गॊब्राह्मणस्य तराणार्थं सेनापत्ये ऽभिषिञ्च माम ॥ ३-२१८-२२ ॥

sanskrit

'Skanda replied, "Anoint me as the leader, for the destruction of the Danavas, for the welfare of the celestials, and for the protection of cows and Brahmanas."' ।। 3-218-22 ।।

english translation

[sakanda] dAnavAnAM vinAzAya devAnAma arthasiddhaye gòbrAhmaNasya tarANArthaM senApatye 'bhiSiJca mAma ॥ 3-218-22 ॥
