सुपर्णी सा तदा भूत्वा निर्जगाम महावनात अपश्यत पर्वतं शवेतं शरस्तम्बैः सुसंवृतम ॥ ३-२१४-१० ॥

sanskrit

'Markandeya continued, "Then, taking the form of a winged creature, she left the forest and reached the White Mountain. It was surrounded by thick clumps of heath and other vegetation."' ॥ 3-214-10 ॥

english translation

suparNI sA tadA bhUtvA nirjagAma mahAvanAta apazyata parvataM zavetaM zarastambaiH susaMvRtama ॥ 3-214-10 ॥
