समालॊक्यैकताम एव शशिनॊ भास्करस्य च समवायं तु तं रौद्रं दृष्ट्वा शक्रॊ वयचिन्तयत ॥ ३-२१३-३१ ॥
'Observing the union of the Moon and the Sun, and seeing that Raudra conjunction, Shakra (Indra) began to contemplate deeply.' ॥ 3-213-31 ॥
english translation
samAlòkyaikatAma eva zazinò bhAskarasya ca samavAyaM tu taM raudraM dRSTvA zakrò vayacintayata ॥ 3-213-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएष रौद्रश च संघातॊ महान युक्तश च तेजसा सॊमस्य वह्नि सूर्याभ्याम अद्भुतॊ ऽयं समागमः जनयेद यं सुतं सॊमः सॊ ऽसया देव्याः पतिर भवेत ॥ ३-२१३-३२ ॥
'This magnificent and powerful assemblage of Rudra, combined with the energy of Soma, Agni, and the Sun, is a wondrous convergence. The son born from Soma shall become the husband of this divine goddess.' ॥ 3-213-32 ॥
english translation
eSa raudraza ca saMghAtò mahAna yuktaza ca tejasA sòmasya vahni sUryAbhyAma adbhutò 'yaM samAgamaH janayeda yaM sutaM sòmaH sò 'sayA devyAH patira bhaveta ॥ 3-213-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअग्निश्च चैतैर गुणैर युक्तः सर्वैर अग्निश च देवता एष चेज जनयेद गर्भं सॊ ऽसया देव्याः पतिर भवेत ॥ ३-२१३-३३ ॥
'This union of the Moon (Soma) with the Sun and Agni is truly extraordinary. If Soma were to produce a son now, that son could become the husband of this lady.' ॥ 3-213-33 ॥
english translation
agnizca caitaira guNaira yuktaH sarvaira agniza ca devatA eSa ceja janayeda garbhaM sò 'sayA devyAH patira bhaveta ॥ 3-213-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं संचिन्त्य भगवान बरह्मलॊकं तदा गतः गृहीत्वा देवसेनां ताम अवन्दत स पितामहम उवाच चास्या देव्यास तवं साधु शूरं पतिं दिश ॥ ३-२१३-३४ ॥
'With these thoughts, the illustrious celestial proceeded to the abode of Brahma, taking Devasena with him. Offering his salutations to the Grandsire, he said, "Please appoint a renowned warrior as the husband of this lady.' ॥ 3-213-34 ॥
english translation
evaM saMcintya bhagavAna barahmalòkaM tadA gataH gRhItvA devasenAM tAma avandata sa pitAmahama uvAca cAsyA devyAsa tavaM sAdhu zUraM patiM diza ॥ 3-213-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[बरह्मा] यथैतच चिन्तितं कार्यं तवया दानव सूदन तथा स भविता गर्भॊ बलवान उरुविक्रमः ॥ ३-२१३-३५ ॥
'Brahma replied, "O slayer of Asuras, it shall be as you have intended. The offspring of that union will be mighty and powerful."' ॥ 3-213-35 ॥

[barahmA] yathaitaca cintitaM kAryaM tavayA dAnava sUdana tathA sa bhavitA garbhò balavAna uruvikramaH ॥ 3-213-35 ॥
