अथापश्यत स उदये भास्करं भास्करद्युतिः सॊमं चैव महाभागं विशमानं दिवाकरम ॥ ३-२१३-२६ ॥
'Adorned with sun-like effulgence, that god then saw the Sun rising on the Udaya hill, and the great Soma (Moon) merging with the Sun.' ॥ 3-213-26 ॥
english translation
अमावास्यां संप्रवृत्तं मुहूर्तं रौद्रम एव च देवासुरं च संग्रामं सॊ ऽपश्यद उदये गिरौ ॥ ३-२१३-२७ ॥
'As it was the time of the new Moon, he, the one of a hundred sacrifices, observed the gods and Asuras battling on the Sunrise hill at the Raudra moment.' ॥ 3-213-27 ॥
english translation
लॊहितैश च घनैर युक्तां पूर्वां संध्यां शतक्रतुः अपश्यल लॊहितॊदं च भगवान वरुणालयम ॥ ३-२१३-२८ ॥
'He saw that the morning twilight was tinged with red clouds, and he also observed that the abode of Varuna had turned blood-red.' ॥ 3-213-28 ॥

भृगुभिश चाङ्गिरॊभिश च हुतं मन्त्रैः पृथग्विधैः हव्यं गृहीत्वा वह्निं च परविशन्तं दिवाकरम ॥ ३-२१३-२९ ॥
'He also observed Agni carrying the oblations offered with various hymns by Bhrigu, Angiras, and others, entering the disc of the Sun.' ॥ 3-213-29 ॥

पर्व चैव चतुर्विंशं तदा सूर्यम उपस्थितम तथा धर्मगतं रौद्रं सॊमं सूर्यगतं च तम ॥ ३-२१३-३० ॥
'Furthermore, he saw the twenty-four Parvas adorning the Sun, and the formidable Soma also present within the Sun amidst these surroundings.' ॥ 3-213-30 ॥
