यस तु विश्वस्य जगतॊ बुद्धिम आक्रम्य तिष्ठति तं पराहुर अध्यात्मविदॊ विश्वजिन नाम पावकम ॥ ३-२०९-१६ ॥
'The fire that, having pervaded the intellect of the entire universe, stands firm and unwavering, is called Vishwajin, the fire of the universe, by those who possess knowledge of the self.' ॥ 3-209-16 ॥
english translation
yasa tu vizvasya jagatò buddhima Akramya tiSThati taM parAhura adhyAtmavidò vizvajina nAma pAvakama ॥ 3-209-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्तराग्निः शरितॊ यॊ हि भुक्तं पचति देहिनाम स यज्ञे विश्वभुन नाम सर्वलॊकेषु भारत ॥ ३-२०९-१७ ॥
'The fire, known as the internal heat, which digests the food of all creatures, is the fourth son of Vrihaspati, known in all the worlds, O Bharata, by the name Viswabhuk.' ॥ 3-209-17 ॥
english translation
antarAgniH zaritò yò hi bhuktaM pacati dehinAma sa yajJe vizvabhuna nAma sarvalòkeSu bhArata ॥ 3-209-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबरह्मचारी यतात्मा च सततं विपुलव्रतः बराह्मणाः पूजयन्त्य एनं पाकयज्ञेषु पावकम ॥ ३-२०९-१८ ॥
'He is self-restrained, of great religious merit, and a Brahmacharin, worshipped by Brahmanas in the Paka-sacrifices.' ॥ 3-209-18 ॥

barahmacArI yatAtmA ca satataM vipulavrataH barAhmaNAH pUjayantya enaM pAkayajJeSu pAvakama ॥ 3-209-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरथितॊ गॊपतिर नाम नदी यस्याभवत परिया तस्मिन सर्वाणि कर्माणि करियन्ते कर्म कर्तृभिः ॥ ३-२०९-१९ ॥
'The sacred river Gomati, his wife, is where all religious-minded individuals perform their rites.' ॥ 3-209-19 ॥

parathitò gòpatira nAma nadI yasyAbhavata pariyA tasmina sarvANi karmANi kariyante karma kartRbhiH ॥ 3-209-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवडवामुखः पिबत्य अम्भॊ यॊ ऽसौ परमदारुणः ऊर्ध्वभाग ऊर्ध्वभान नाम कविः पराणाश्रितस तु सः ॥ ३-२०९-२० ॥
'And that fearsome water-drinking sea fire, known as Vadava, is the fifth son of Vrihaspati. This Brahmic fire has an upward movement and is hence called Urdhvabhag. It resides in the vital air, known as Prana, which sustains life.' ॥ 3-209-20 ॥

vaDavAmukhaH pibatya ambhò yò 'sau paramadAruNaH UrdhvabhAga UrdhvabhAna nAma kaviH parANAzritasa tu saH ॥ 3-209-20 ॥
