एतत ते सर्वम आख्यातं निखिलेन युधिष्ठिर पृष्टवान असि यं तात धर्मं धर्मभृतां वर ॥ ३-२०६-३१ ॥
'I have thus, O pious Yudhishthira, narrated to you in full this story rich in moral teachings, which you, my dear son, requested me to recount.' ॥ 3-206-31 ॥
english translation
etata te sarvama AkhyAtaM nikhilena yudhiSThira pRSTavAna asi yaM tAta dharmaM dharmabhRtAM vara ॥ 3-206-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपतिव्रताया माहात्म्यं बराह्मणस्य च सत्तम माता पित्रॊश च शुश्रूषा वयाधे धर्मश च कीर्तितः ॥ ३-२०६-३२ ॥
'The greatness of a devoted wife, the virtue of the Brahmana, the service to one's parents, and the duty of the sick are all extolled.' ॥ 3-206-32 ॥
english translation
pativratAyA mAhAtmyaM barAhmaNasya ca sattama mAtA pitròza ca zuzrUSA vayAdhe dharmaza ca kIrtitaH ॥ 3-206-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[य] अत्यद्भुतम इदं बरह्मन धर्माख्यानम अनुत्तमम सर्वधर्मभृतां शरेष्ठ कथितं दविजसत्तम ॥ ३-२०६-३३ ॥
'Yudhishthira replied, "O most pious Brahmana, and the best of sages, You have told me this excellent and wondrous moral tale; and as I listened to you."' ॥ 3-206-33 ॥
english translation
[ya] atyadbhutama idaM barahmana dharmAkhyAnama anuttamama sarvadharmabhRtAM zareSTha kathitaM davijasattama ॥ 3-206-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुखश्रव्यतया विद्वन मुहूर्तम इव मे गतम न हि तृप्तॊ ऽसमि भगवाञ शृण्वानॊ धर्मम उत्तमम ॥ ३-२०६-३४ ॥
'O learned one, my time has passed as though in the blink of an eye. But, O revered sir, I am not yet satisfied with hearing this discourse on righteousness.' ॥ 3-206-34 ॥

sukhazravyatayA vidvana muhUrtama iva me gatama na hi tRptò 'sami bhagavAJa zRNvAnò dharmama uttamama ॥ 3-206-34 ॥
