न विषादे मनॊ कार्यं विषादॊ विषम उत्तमम मारयत्य अकृतप्रज्ञं बालं करुद्ध इवॊरगः ॥ ३-२०६-२१ ॥
'One must not succumb to discontent, for it is akin to a potent poison. It destroys those of immature understanding, just as an enraged snake kills a defenseless child.' ॥ 3-206-21 ॥
english translation
यं विषादाभिभवति विषमे समुपस्थिते तेजसा तस्य हीनस्य पुरुषार्थॊ न विद्यते ॥ ३-२०६-२२ ॥
'A man who is overpowered by confusion and loses his energy when the time calls for vigor lacks true manliness.' ॥ 3-206-22 ॥
english translation
अवश्यं करियमाणस्य कर्मणॊ दृश्यते फलम न हि निर्वेदम आगम्य किं चित पराप्नॊति शॊभनम ॥ ३-२०६-२३ ॥
'Our actions inevitably yield their consequences. One who resigns to passive indifference achieves nothing worthwhile.' ॥ 3-206-23 ॥

अथाप्य उपायं पश्येत दुःखस्य परिमॊक्षणे अशॊचन्न आरभेतैव युक्तश चाव्यसनी भवेत ॥ ३-२०६-२४ ॥
'Rather than lamenting, one must seek a way to escape spiritual misery. Having discovered the means to salvation, one should act decisively and renounce sensual indulgence.' ॥ 3-206-24 ॥

भूतेष्व अभावं संचिन्त्य ये तु बुद्धेः परं गताः न शॊचन्ति कृतप्रज्ञाः पश्यन्तः परमां गतिम ॥ ३-२०६-२५ ॥
'A person who has attained profound spiritual knowledge remains aware of the inherent instability and impermanence of all material things. Such an individual, mindful of the ultimate end of all existence, does not grieve.' ॥ 3-206-25 ॥
