देवता गृहसंकाशं दैवतैश च सुपूजितम शयनासनसंबाधं गन्धैश च परमैर युतम ॥ ३-२०४-६ ॥
'The house was adorned with luxurious seats and beds and was imbued with the fragrance of exquisite perfumes.' ॥ 3-204-6 ॥
english translation
तत्र शुक्लाम्बर धरौ पितराव अस्य पूजितौ कृताहारौ सुतुष्टौ ताव उपविष्टौ वरासने धर्मव्याधस तुतौ दृष्ट्वा पादेषु शिरसापतत ॥ ३-२०४-७ ॥
'His revered parents, clad in white garments and having finished their meals, were seated in comfort. The fowler, upon seeing them, prostrated himself, placing his head at their feet in deep reverence.' ॥ 3-204-7 ॥
english translation
[वृद्धौ] उत्तिष्ठॊत्तिष्ठ धर्मज्ञ धर्मस तवाम अभिरक्षतु परीतौ सवस तव शौचेन दीर्घम आयुर अवाप्नुहि सत पुत्रेण तवया पुत्र नित्यकालं सुपूजितौ ॥ ३-२०४-८ ॥
'His aged parents then spoke to him, 'Rise, O man of virtue, rise, may righteousness protect you. We are deeply pleased with your piety; may you be blessed with a long life, wisdom, great intelligence, and the fulfillment of all your desires. You are a dutiful and devoted son, for you care for us constantly and with reverence.'' ॥ 3-204-8 ॥

न ते ऽनयद दैवतं किं चिद दैवतेष्व अपि वर्तते परयतत्वाद दविजातीनां दमेनासि समन्वितः ॥ ३-२०४-९ ॥
'Even among the gods, there is no deity greater than you in our eyes. By continuously subduing yourself, you have acquired the self-discipline of the Brahmanas.' ॥ 3-204-9 ॥
english translation
पितुः पितामहा ये च तथैव परपितामहाः परीतास ते सततं पुत्र दमेनावां च पूजया ॥ ३-२०४-१० ॥
'Your grandfathers and ancestors are forever pleased with your self-restraint and the piety you show towards us.' ॥ 3-204-10 ॥
