परवृत्त वाक्यॊ मन्त्री च यॊ ऽनुराग्य अभ्यसूयकः विवित्समानॊ विप्रर्षे सतब्धॊ मानी स राजसः ॥ ३-२०३-६ ॥
'O Brahmana Rishi, a person who speaks kindly, is thoughtful, free from envy, diligent in action driven by a strong desire for its rewards, and possesses a passionate temperament, is said to be influenced by rajas.' ॥ 3-203-6 ॥
