यथा संभृत संभारः पुनर एव परजायते शुभकृच छुभयॊनीषु पापकृत पापयॊनिषु ॥ ३-२००-३१ ॥
'The spirit is reborn with its accumulated load of karma: the righteous are born in virtuous circumstances, while the wicked are born into sinful ones.' ॥ 3-200-31 ॥
english translation
yathA saMbhRta saMbhAraH punara eva parajAyate zubhakRca chubhayònISu pApakRta pApayòniSu ॥ 3-200-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशुभैः परयॊगैर देवत्वं वयामिश्रैर मानुषॊ भवेत मॊहनीयैर वियॊनीषु तव अधॊ गामी च किल्बिषैः ॥ ३-२००-३२ ॥
'By performing virtuous actions, the spirit attains the state of the gods; by a mixture of good and evil, it acquires the human state. Through indulgence in sensual pleasures and demoralizing practices, it is born into lower species of animals, and by sinful acts, it descends to the infernal regions.' ॥ 3-200-32 ॥

zubhaiH parayògaira devatvaM vayAmizraira mAnuSò bhaveta mòhanIyaira viyònISu tava adhò gAmI ca kilbiSaiH ॥ 3-200-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजातिमृत्युजरादुःखैः सततं समभिद्रुतः संसारे पच्यमानश च दॊषैर आत्मकृतैर नरः ॥ ३-२००-३३ ॥
'Afflicted by the miseries of birth and old age, man is destined to suffer here below, decaying from the evil consequences of his own actions.' ॥ 3-200-33 ॥

jAtimRtyujarAduHkhaiH satataM samabhidrutaH saMsAre pacyamAnaza ca dòSaira AtmakRtaira naraH ॥ 3-200-33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतिर्यग्यॊनिसहस्राणि गत्वा नरकम एव च जीवाः संपरिवर्तन्ते कर्मबन्धनिबन्धनाः ॥ ३-२००-३४ ॥
'Passing through thousands of births and the infernal regions, our spirits wander, bound by the fetters of their own karma.' ॥ 3-200-34 ॥

tiryagyònisahasrANi gatvA narakama eva ca jIvAH saMparivartante karmabandhanibandhanAH ॥ 3-200-34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजन्तुस तु कर्मभिस तैस तैः सवकृतैः परेत्य दुःखितः तद्दुःखप्रतिघातार्थम अपुण्यां यॊनिम अश्नुते ॥ ३-२००-३५ ॥
'Animate beings become miserable in the next world due to their own actions, and as a result of those miseries, they are born into lower forms of life.' ॥ 3-200-35 ॥
