ततॊ विहारैर आहारैर मॊहितश च विशां पते महामॊहमुखे मग्ने नात्मानम अवबुध्यते ॥ ३-२-६६ ॥
'And thus, blinded by unrestrained sensual pleasure and immersed in profound ignorance which he mistakes for happiness, he fails to recognize his true self.' ॥ 3-2-66 ॥
english translation
एवं पतति संसारे तासु तास्व इह यॊनिषु अविद्या कर्म तृष्णाभिर भराम्यमाणॊ ऽथ चक्रवत ॥ ३-२-६७ ॥
'Like a wheel in perpetual motion, every being, driven by ignorance, action, and desire, cycles through various states of existence, traversing the entire gamut from the divine realms of Brahma to the humble blade of grass, now in water, now on land, and at times in the air.' ॥ 3-2-67 ॥
english translation
बरह्मादिषु तृणान्तेषु हूतेषु परिवर्तते जले भुवि तथाकाशे जायमानः पुनः पुनः ॥ ३-२-६८ ॥
'From Brahma down to a blade of grass, One revolves through various forms when oblations are offered, Being born again and again In water, on earth, and in the sky.' ॥ 3-2-68 ॥
english translation
अबुधानां गतिस तव एषा बुधानाम अपि मे शृणु ये धर्मे शरेयसि रता विमॊक्षरतयॊ जनाः ॥ ३-२-६९ ॥
'This is the path of those who are ignorant. Now listen to the course followed by the wise, those who are devoted to righteous virtue and seek liberation.' ॥ 3-2-69 ॥
english translation
यद इदं वेद वचनं कुरु कर्म तयजेति च तस्माद धर्मान इमान सर्वान नाभिमानात समाचरेत ॥ ३-२-७० ॥
'The Vedas prescribe action but advocate detachment from the fruits of action. Therefore, one should act without attachment, renouncing personal pride.' ॥ 3-2-70 ॥
