एवं पतति संसारे तासु तास्व इह यॊनिषु अविद्या कर्म तृष्णाभिर भराम्यमाणॊ ऽथ चक्रवत ।। ३-२-६७ ।।

sanskrit

'Like a wheel in perpetual motion, every being, driven by ignorance, action, and desire, cycles through various states of existence, traversing the entire gamut from the divine realms of Brahma to the humble blade of grass, now in water, now on land, and at times in the air.' ।। 3-2-67 ।।

english translation

evaM patati saMsAre tAsu tAsva iha yòniSu avidyA karma tRSNAbhira bharAmyamANò 'tha cakravata || 3-2-67 ||
