शुभानाम अशुभानां च कर्मणां फलसंचये विपाकम अभिजानन्ति ते शिष्टाः शिष्टसंमताः ॥ ३-१९८-८१ ॥
'Those who are wise in understanding the consequences of their actions, both good and bad, are praised by other virtuous individuals.' ॥ 3-198-81 ॥
english translation
नयायॊपेता गुणॊपेताः सर्वलॊकहितैषिणः सन्तः सवर्गजितः शुक्लाः संनिविष्टाश च सत्पथे ॥ ३-१९८-८२ ॥
'Those who are just, virtuous, and good-hearted, who seek the welfare of all beings, and who remain steadfast on the path of righteousness, having conquered the heavens, are praised by the virtuous.' ॥ 3-198-82 ॥
english translation
दातारः संविभक्तारॊ दीनानुग्रह कारिणः सर्वभूतदयावन्तस ते शिष्टाः शिष्टसंमताः ॥ ३-१९८-८३ ॥
'They are charitable, selfless, and of impeccable character, offering aid to the afflicted, learned and respected by all, practicing austerities, and displaying kindness to all creatures.' ॥ 3-198-83 ॥
english translation
सर्वपूज्याः शरुतधनास तथैव च तपस्विनः दाननित्याः सुखाँल लॊकान आप्नुवन्तीह च शरियम ॥ ३-१९८-८४ ॥
'Those who are generous attain prosperity in this world and the realms of bliss in the next. The virtuous man, when asked for help by those of good character, gives alms with all his might.' ॥ 3-198-84 ॥

पीडया च कलत्रस्य भृत्यानां च समाहिताः अतिशक्त्या परयच्छन्ति सन्तः सद्भिः समागताः ॥ ३-१९८-८५ ॥
'The virtuous ones (sants), when they come together with other good people, Even while bearing the burden of family and servants, Give with full capacity/effort, Remaining focused/composed.' ॥ 3-198-85 ॥
