सर्वपूज्याः शरुतधनास तथैव च तपस्विनः दाननित्याः सुखाँल लॊकान आप्नुवन्तीह च शरियम ।। ३-१९८-८४ ।।

sanskrit

'Those who are generous attain prosperity in this world and the realms of bliss in the next. The virtuous man, when asked for help by those of good character, gives alms with all his might.' ।। 3-198-84 ।।

english translation

sarvapUjyAH zarutadhanAsa tathaiva ca tapasvinaH dAnanityAH sukhA~la lòkAna ApnuvantIha ca zariyama || 3-198-84 ||
