[मार्क] स तु विप्रॊ महाप्राज्ञॊ धर्मव्याधम अपृच्छत शिष्टाचारं कथम अहं विद्याम इति नरॊत्तम एतन महामते वयाध परब्रवीहि यथातथम ।। ३-१९८-५६ ।।

sanskrit

'Markandeya continued, 'Upon hearing these words from the fowler, the wise Brahmana, endowed with great knowledge, asked him, "How can I discern virtuous conduct? Blessed are you, O foremost of virtuous men, and I wish to hear the truth of this from you. Therefore, O exalted soul, kindly tell me all about it."' ।। 3-198-56 ।।

[mArka] sa tu viprò mahAprAjJò dharmavyAdhama apRcchata ziSTAcAraM kathama ahaM vidyAma iti naròttama etana mahAmate vayAdha parabravIhi yathAtathama || 3-198-56 ||
