पापं कृत्वा हि मन्येत नाहम अस्मीति पूरुषः चिकीर्षेद एव कल्याणं शरद्दधानॊ ऽनसूयकः ॥ ३-१९८-५१ ॥
'After committing a sin, a man should cease to consider himself truly human. No one can hide their sins, for both the gods and the inner Being observe all actions.' ॥ 3-198-51 ॥
english translation
वसनस्येव छिद्राणि साधूनां विवृणॊति यः पापं चेत पुरुषः कृत्वा कल्याणम अभिपद्यते मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्यॊ महाभ्रैर इव चन्द्रमाः ॥ ३-१९८-५२ ॥
'He who, with piety and without malice, covers the faults of the righteous and the wise, as one would conceal holes in his own clothing, surely seeks his own salvation. If a man seeks redemption after committing a sin, there is no doubt that he is cleansed of all his transgressions, and he shines pure and resplendent, like the moon emerging from the clouds.' ॥ 3-198-52 ॥

यथादित्यः समुद्यन वै तमॊ सर्वं वयपॊहति एवं कल्याणम आतिष्ठन सर्वपापैः परमुच्यते ॥ ३-१९८-५३ ॥
'A man who seeks redemption is cleansed of all his sins, just as the rising sun dispels all darkness.' ॥ 3-198-53 ॥
english translation
पापानां विद्ध्य अधिष्ठानं लॊभम एव दविजॊत्तम लुब्धाः पापं वयवस्यन्ति नरा नातिबहु शरुताः अधर्मा धर्मरूपेण तृणैः कूपा इवावृताः ॥ ३-१९८-५४ ॥
'O best of Brahmanas, temptation is the root of all sin. Ignorant men, yielding solely to temptation, commit sins. Sinful men often cloak themselves in a virtuous appearance, like wells whose mouths are hidden beneath long grass.' ॥ 3-198-54 ॥

तेषां दमः पवित्राणि परलापा धर्मसंश्रिताः सर्वं हि विद्यते तेषु शिष्टाचारः सुदुर्लभः ॥ ३-१९८-५५ ॥
'Outwardly, they appear to have self-control and holiness, and they preach virtuous teachings. However, in their actions, these words hold little meaning. Indeed, everything is visible in them except true virtuous conduct!' ॥ 3-198-55 ॥
