वसनस्येव छिद्राणि साधूनां विवृणॊति यः पापं चेत पुरुषः कृत्वा कल्याणम अभिपद्यते मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्यॊ महाभ्रैर इव चन्द्रमाः ॥ ३-१९८-५२ ॥

sanskrit

'He who, with piety and without malice, covers the faults of the righteous and the wise, as one would conceal holes in his own clothing, surely seeks his own salvation. If a man seeks redemption after committing a sin, there is no doubt that he is cleansed of all his transgressions, and he shines pure and resplendent, like the moon emerging from the clouds.' ॥ 3-198-52 ॥

vasanasyeva chidrANi sAdhUnAM vivRNòti yaH pApaM ceta puruSaH kRtvA kalyANama abhipadyate mucyate sarvapApebhyò mahAbhraira iva candramAH ॥ 3-198-52 ॥
