उरुण्डा वामनाः कुब्जाः सथूलशीर्षास तथैव च कलीबाश चान्धाश च जायन्ते बधिरा लम्बचूचुकाः पार्थिवानाम अधर्मत्वात परजानाम अभवः सदा ।। ३-१९८-३५ ।।

sanskrit

'It is then, O Brahmana, that malformed creatures—monsters, dwarfs, hunchbacks, and those with large heads, as well as the blind, deaf, those with paralyzed eyes, or those lacking the power of procreation—begin to be born. It is due to the sinfulness of kings that their subjects endure numerous misfortunes.' ।। 3-198-35 ।।

uruNDA vAmanAH kubjAH sathUlazIrSAsa tathaiva ca kalIbAza cAndhAza ca jAyante badhirA lambacUcukAH pArthivAnAma adharmatvAta parajAnAma abhavaH sadA || 3-198-35 ||
