वयभिचारान नरेन्द्राणां धर्मः संकीर्यते महान अधर्मॊ वर्धते चापि संकीर्यन्ते तथा परजाः ॥ ३-१९८-३४ ॥

'It is due to the sinful actions of kings that virtue greatly diminishes, while sin begins to flourish. When this occurs, the subjects of the kingdom start to decline.' ॥ 3-198-34 ॥

english translation

vayabhicArAna narendrANAM dharmaH saMkIryate mahAna adharmò vardhate cApi saMkIryante tathA parajAH ॥ 3-198-34 ॥
