स तद वाक्यम उपलभ्य वयथितेन्द्रिय मनः परॊवाच परसीद राजन अहम आयुर नाम मण्डूकराजः मम सा दुहिता सुशॊभना नाम तस्या दौःशील्यम एतत बहवॊ हि राजानस तया विप्रलब्ध पूर्वेति ।। ३-१९०-३७ ।।

sanskrit

'Hearing these words of King Parikshit, the king of the frogs, deeply pained in both mind and senses, said: 'Be inclined to grace, O King! I am Ayu, the king of the frogs. She who was your wife is my daughter, named Suśobhā. This, indeed, is an instance of her bad conduct. Many kings before you have been deceived by her.'' ।। 3-190-37 ।।

english translation

sa tada vAkyama upalabhya vayathitendriya manaH paròvAca parasIda rAjana ahama Ayura nAma maNDUkarAjaH mama sA duhitA suzòbhanA nAma tasyA dauHzIlyama etata bahavò hi rAjAnasa tayA vipralabdha pUrveti || 3-190-37 ||
