निर्घातवायसा नागाः शकुनाः समृगद्विजाः रूक्षा वाचॊ विमॊक्ष्यन्ति युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते ॥ ३-१८८-८१ ॥
'And when the end of the Yuga comes, crows, snakes, vultures, kites, and other animals and birds will utter frightful and dissonant cries.' ॥ 3-188-81 ॥
