बराह्मणाः शूद्र कर्माणस तथा शूद्रा धनार्जकाः कषत्रधर्मेण वाप्य अत्र वर्तयन्ति गते युगे ॥ ३-१८६-२६ ॥
'During the Kali Yuga, Brahmanas perform the duties reserved for the Shudras, and the Shudras turn to the acquisition of wealth. Kshatriyas, too, engage in religious practices.' ॥ 3-186-26 ॥
english translation
निवृत्तयज्ञस्वाध्यायाः पिण्डॊदकविवर्जिताः बराह्मणाः सर्वभक्षाश च भविष्यन्ति कलौ युगे ॥ ३-१८६-२७ ॥
'In this age, Brahmanas abandon sacrifices and the study of the Vedas, discard their staff and deer-skin, and become omnivorous in their diet.' ॥ 3-186-27 ॥
english translation
अजपा बराह्मणास तात शूद्रा जप परायणाः विपरीते तदा लॊके पूर्वरूपं कषयस्य तत ॥ ३-१८६-२८ ॥
'And, O son, in that age, the Brahmanas will abandon prayers and meditation, while the Shudras will take up these practices. The course of the world will appear reversed, and these signs are harbingers of the Universal Destruction.' ॥ 3-186-28 ॥

बहवॊ मेच्छ राजानः पृथिव्यां मनुजाधिप मिथ्यानुशासिनः पापा मृषावादपरायणाः ॥ ३-१८६-२९ ॥
'Moreover, O lord of men, numerous Mleccha kings will rule over the earth! And those sinful kings, addicted to falsehood, govern their subjects according to principles that are equally false.' ॥ 3-186-29 ॥

आन्ध्राः शकाः पुलिन्दाश च यवनाश च नराधिपाः काम्बॊजा और्णिकाः शूद्रास तथाभीरा नरॊत्तम ॥ ३-१८६-३० ॥
'The Andhras, the Shakas, the Pulindas, the Yavanas, the Kambojas, the Valhikas, and the Abhiras, O best of men, will then rise to power, possessing bravery and ruling over the earth.' ॥ 3-186-30 ॥
