इच्छामि पुण्डरीकाक्ष जञातुं तवाहम अनिन्दित इह भूत्वा शिशुः साक्षात किं भवान अवतिष्ठते पीत्वा जगद इदं विश्वम एतद आख्यातुम अर्हसि ॥ ३-१८६-१२६ ॥
'O Lotus-eyed one, I desire to know you, who are free from all faults! Why do you remain here in the form of a boy, having swallowed up the entire universe? It is fitting for you to explain all this to me.' ॥ 3-186-126 ॥
