मनुं मत्यस ततॊ दृष्ट्वा पुनर एवाभ्यभाषत नयमां भगवन साधॊ समुद्रमहिषीं परभॊ गङ्गां तत्र निवत्स्यामि यथा वा तात मन्यसे ।। ३-१८५-१८ ।।

sanskrit

'Seeing Manu, the fish spoke again, saying, "O revered one, O Lord, I shall dwell in the ocean, the consort of the mighty ocean-lord. Let me live there, as thou deemest fit, O father."' ।। 3-185-18 ।।

english translation

manuM matyasa tatò dRSTvA punara evAbhyabhASata nayamAM bhagavana sAdhò samudramahiSIM parabhò gaGgAM tatra nivatsyAmi yathA vA tAta manyase || 3-185-18 ||
