कृत्वैव कर्माणि महानि शूरास; तपॊ दमाचार विहारशीलाः देवान ऋषीन परेतगणांश च सर्वान; संतर्पयित्वा विधिना परेण ॥ ३-१८१-४० ॥

'Having performed great deeds, these heroes who are devoted to austerity, self-control, and proper conduct, have duly satisfied all the gods, sages, and hosts of departed spirits through supreme rituals.' ॥ 3-181-40 ॥

kRtvaiva karmANi mahAni zUrAsa; tapò damAcAra vihArazIlAH devAna RSIna paretagaNAMza ca sarvAna; saMtarpayitvA vidhinA pareNa ॥ 3-181-40 ॥
