किं चिद दैवाद धठात किं चित किं चिद एव सवकर्मभिः पराप्नुवन्ति नरा राजन मा ते ऽसत्व अन्या विचारणा ॥ ३-१८१-३२ ॥
'O King, men achieve their outcomes either through the grace of the gods, the decree of destiny, or their own actions. Do not entertain thoughts to the contrary.' ॥ 3-181-32 ॥
