कृतान्तविधिसंयुक्तः सजन्तुर लक्षणैः शुभैः अशुभैर वा निरादानॊ लक्ष्यते जञानदृष्टिभिः ॥ ३-१८१-२६ ॥
'The soul, united with the forces of destiny, is marked by auspicious or inauspicious traits, and is perceived according to the insight of knowledge, whether good or bad.' ॥ 3-181-26 ॥
english translation
kRtAntavidhisaMyuktaH sajantura lakSaNaiH zubhaiH azubhaira vA nirAdAnò lakSyate jaJAnadRSTibhiH ॥ 3-181-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएषा तावद अबुद्धीनां गतिर उक्ता युधिष्ठिर अतः परं जञानवतां निबॊध गतिम उत्तमाम ॥ ३-१८१-२७ ॥
'This, O Yudhishthira, is the fate of all beings immersed in spiritual ignorance. Now, hear of the exalted path attained by those of profound spiritual insight!' ॥ 3-181-27 ॥

eSA tAvada abuddhInAM gatira uktA yudhiSThira ataH paraM jaJAnavatAM nibòdha gatima uttamAma ॥ 3-181-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमनुष्यास तप्ततपसः सर्वागम परायणाः सथिरव्रताः सत्यपरा गुरुशुश्रूषणे रताः ॥ ३-१८१-२८ ॥
'Such men possess great ascetic virtue and are well-versed in both secular and sacred scriptures. They are diligent in fulfilling their religious duties, devoted to truth, and show due reverence to their preceptors and elders.' ॥ 3-181-28 ॥

manuSyAsa taptatapasaH sarvAgama parAyaNAH sathiravratAH satyaparA guruzuzrUSaNe ratAH ॥ 3-181-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुशीलाः शुक्लजातीयाः कषान्ता दान्ताः सुतेजसः शुभयॊन्यन्तरगताः परायशः शुभलक्षणाः ॥ ३-१८१-२९ ॥
'They are of noble character, pure lineage, endowed with patience and self-control, radiant in energy, born in auspicious lineages, and generally marked by favorable signs.' ॥ 3-181-29 ॥

suzIlAH zuklajAtIyAH kaSAntA dAntAH sutejasaH zubhayònyantaragatAH parAyazaH zubhalakSaNAH ॥ 3-181-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजितेन्द्रियत्वाद वशिनः शुल्कत्वान मन्दरॊगिणः अल्पबाध परित्रासाद भवन्ति निरुपद्रवाः ॥ ३-१८१-३० ॥
'By conquering their passions, they attain mastery over the mind; through the practice of Yoga, they become free from disease, fear, and sorrow, remaining undisturbed in spirit.' ॥ 3-181-30 ॥
