गदासिचर्म गरहणेषु शूरान; अस्त्रेषु शिक्षासु रथाश्वयाने सम्यग विनेता विनयत्य अतन्द्रीस; तांश चाभिमन्युः सततं कुमारः ।। ३-१८०-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'He trains the brave in the use of maces, shields, and weapons, in archery, and in driving chariots and horses. As a skilled teacher, he imparts discipline without rest, and Abhimanyu, the young prince, always follows these teachings with dedication.' ।। 3-180-28 ।।

english translation

gadAsicarma garahaNeSu zUrAna; astreSu zikSAsu rathAzvayAne samyaga vinetA vinayatya atandrIsa; tAMza cAbhimanyuH satataM kumAraH || 3-180-28 ||
