[वै] काम्यकं पराप्य कौन्तेया युधिष्ठिरपुरॊगमाः कृतातिथ्या मुनिगणैर निषेदुः सह कृष्णया ॥ ३-१८०-१ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, "O son of Kuru, Yudhishthira and the others, upon reaching the Kamyaka forest, were warmly received by a host of saints, and they lived there together with Krishna."' ॥ 3-180-1 ॥
english translation
ततस तान परिविश्वस्तान वसतः पाण्डुनन्दनान बराह्मणा बहवस तत्र समन्तात पर्यवारयन ॥ ३-१८०-२ ॥
'While the sons of Pandu were dwelling securely in that place, many Brahmanas came to attend to them.' ॥ 3-180-2 ॥
english translation
अथाब्रवीद दविजः कश चिद अर्जुनस्य परियः सखा एष्यतीह महाबाहुर वशीशौरिर उदारधीः ॥ ३-१८०-३ ॥
'One Brahmana, addressing them, said, "He, the beloved friend of Arjuna, of mighty arms and self-control, a descendant of Sura, and of lofty intellect, will come."' ॥ 3-180-3 ॥
english translation
विदिता हि हरेर यूयम इहायाताः कुरूद्वहाः सदा हि दर्शनाकाङ्क्षी शरेयॊ ऽनवेषी च वॊ हरिः ॥ ३-१८०-४ ॥
'For, O ye foremost of the Kuru dynasty, Hari knows that you have arrived here. For, Hari has always a longing for your sight and always seeks your welfare.' ॥ 3-180-4 ॥

बहु वत्सर जीवी च मार्कण्डेयॊ महातपः सवाध्यायतपसा युक्तः कषिप्रं युष्मान समेष्यति ॥ ३-१८०-५ ॥
'Markandeya, who has lived for many years, devoted to great austerities, and immersed in study and penance, will soon come to meet you.' ॥ 3-180-5 ॥
