समेत्य पार्थेन यथैक रात्रम; ऊषुः समास तत्र तदा चतस्रः पूर्वाश च सॊ ता दश पाण्डवानां; शिवा बभूवुर वसतां वनेषु ॥ ३-१७३-५ ॥

'O King, that period of their lives passed peacefully. With Partha in their company, the four years they spent there felt like a single night. As the Pandavas dwelled in the forest, these four years, along with the previous six, seamlessly combined into ten tranquil and harmonious years.' ॥ 3-173-5 ॥

english translation

sametya pArthena yathaika rAtrama; USuH samAsa tatra tadA catasraH pUrvAza ca sò tA daza pANDavAnAM; zivA babhUvura vasatAM vaneSu ॥ 3-173-5 ॥
