मीनकूर्म समूहानां नानाशस्त्रासि पाणिनाम तथैव यातु दानानां गदा मुद्गरधारिणाम ॥ ३-१७०-४६ ॥
'There appeared groups of fish and tortoises, each wielding various weapons in their hands, as well as the Danavas carrying maces and clubs.' ॥ 3-170-46 ॥
english translation
एतैश चान्यैश च बहुभिर नानारूपधरैस तथा सर्वम आसीज जगद वयाप्तं तस्मिन्न अस्त्रे विसर्जिते ॥ ३-१७०-४७ ॥
'With these and many other forms, diverse in appearance, the entire world seemed to be pervaded when that weapon was released.' ॥ 3-170-47 ॥

तरिषिरॊभिश चतुर्दंष्ट्रैश चतुरास्यैश चतुर्भुजैः अनेकरूपसंयुक्तैर मांसं मेदॊ वसाशिभिः अभीक्ष्णं वध्यमानास ते दानवा ये समागताः ॥ ३-१७०-४८ ॥
'And again and again, the Danavas were struck by beings of various forms—some with three heads, some with four tusks, others with four mouths and four arms, their bodies adorned with flesh, fat, bones, and marrow—meeting their destruction.' ॥ 3-170-48 ॥
english translation
अर्कज्वलन तेजॊभिर वज्राशनिसमप्रभैः अदिर सारमयैश चान्यैर बाणैर अरिविदारणैः नयहनं दानवान सर्वान मुहूर्तेनैव भारत ॥ ३-१७०-४९ ॥
'Then, O Bharata, in an instant, I destroyed all those Danavas with swarms of arrows, composed of the essence of stone, blazing like fire or the sun, and infused with the power of thunderbolts.' ॥ 3-170-49 ॥
english translation
गाण्डीवास्त्र परणुन्नांस तान गतासून नभसश चयुतान दृष्ट्वाहं पराणमं भूयस तरिपुरघ्नाय वेधसे ॥ ३-१७०-५० ॥
'And seeing them struck by the Gandiva, lifeless and cast down from the sky, I once again bowed to that god, the Destroyer of Tripura.' ॥ 3-170-50 ॥
