[अर्ज] ततॊ ऽहं सतूयमानस तु तत्र तत्र महर्षिभिः अपश्यम उदधिं भीमम अपां पतिम अथाव्ययम ॥ ३-१६६-१ ॥

'Arjuna continued, 'Then, as I proceeded through places eulogized by the great sages, I eventually beheld the vast ocean—the inexhaustible lord of waters.'' ॥ 3-166-1 ॥

english translation

[arja] tatò 'haM satUyamAnasa tu tatra tatra maharSibhiH apazyama udadhiM bhImama apAM patima athAvyayama ॥ 3-166-1 ॥
