परयॊगम उपसंहारम आवृत्तिं च धनंजय परायश्चित्तं च वेत्थ तवं परतिघातं च सर्वशः ॥ ३-१६५-६ ॥
'You have perfectly mastered the deployment and withdrawal of weapons, their re-deployment and re-withdrawal, the atonement associated with them, and their revival in case they are thwarted.' ॥ 3-165-6 ॥
english translation
parayògama upasaMhArama AvRttiM ca dhanaMjaya parAyazcittaM ca vettha tavaM paratighAtaM ca sarvazaH ॥ 3-165-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतव गुर्वर्थकालॊ ऽयम उपपन्नः परंतप परतिजानीष्व तं कर्तुम अतॊ वेत्स्याम्य अहं परम ॥ ३-१६५-७ ॥
'Now, O vanquisher of foes, the time has come for you to pay your preceptor’s fee. Promise to fulfill this, and then I shall reveal to you what you must do.' ॥ 3-165-7 ॥

tava gurvarthakAlò 'yama upapannaH paraMtapa paratijAnISva taM kartuma atò vetsyAmya ahaM parama ॥ 3-165-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ ऽहम अब्रुवं राजन देवराजम इदं वचः विषह्यं चेन मया कर्तुं कृतम एव निबॊध तत ॥ ३-१६५-८ ॥
'Thereupon, O king, I said to the ruler of the celestials, 'If it is within my power to accomplish the task, consider it already done by me.'' ॥ 3-165-8 ॥

tatò 'hama abruvaM rAjana devarAjama idaM vacaH viSahyaM cena mayA kartuM kRtama eva nibòdha tata ॥ 3-165-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ माम अब्रवीद राजन परहस्य बलवृत्रहा नाविषह्यं तवाद्यास्ति तरिषु लॊकेषु किं चन ॥ ३-१६५-९ ॥
'O king, upon hearing these words, Indra, with a smile, said to me, 'There is nothing in the three worlds beyond your power to achieve.' ॥ 3-165-9 ॥

tatò mAma abravIda rAjana parahasya balavRtrahA nAviSahyaM tavAdyAsti tariSu lòkeSu kiM cana ॥ 3-165-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिवातकवचा नाम दानवा मम शत्रवः समुद्रकुक्षिम आश्रित्य दुर्गे परतिवसन्त्य उत ॥ ३-१६५-१० ॥
'My enemies, the Danavas known as Nivata-Kavachas, reside in the depths of the ocean.' ॥ 3-165-10 ॥

nivAtakavacA nAma dAnavA mama zatravaH samudrakukSima Azritya durge parativasantya uta ॥ 3-165-10 ॥
