ऊर्ध्वबाहुश चतुर्थं तु मासम अस्मि सथितस तदा न च मे हीयते पराणस तद अद्भुतम इवाभवत ॥ ३-१६३-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'In the fourth month, I remained with my arms raised, and it was a wonder that I did not lose any strength.' ।। 3-163-16 ।।

UrdhvabAhuza caturthaM tu mAsama asmi sathitasa tadA na ca me hIyate parANasa tada adbhutama ivAbhavata ॥ 3-163-16 ॥

'It was turning up the earth with its mouth, stamping the ground with its feet, rubbing its breast against the earth, and moving about in a terrifying manner.' ।। 3-163-18 ।।

'And following him was a great being in the guise of a hunter, equipped with a bow, arrows, and a sword, surrounded by women.' ।। 3-163-19 ।।
