ततः शैलॊत्तमस्याग्रात पाण्डवान परति मारुतः अवहत सर्वमाल्यानि गन्धवन्ति शुभानि च ॥ ३-१५७-१६ ॥
'Then, from the peak of that noble mountain, the wind carried various fragrant and beautiful blossoms before the Pandavas.' ॥ 3-157-16 ॥

tataH zailòttamasyAgrAta pANDavAna parati mArutaH avahata sarvamAlyAni gandhavanti zubhAni ca ॥ 3-157-16 ॥

'The Pandavas, along with the illustrious Krishna and their companions, beheld those heavenly blossoms of five hues.' ॥ 3-157-17 ॥

tatra puSpANi divyAni suhRdbhiH saha pANDavAH dadRzuH paJca varNAni daraupadI ca yazasvinI ॥ 3-157-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptभीमसेनं ततः कृष्णा काले वचनम अब्रवीत विविक्ते पर्वतॊद्देशे सुक्खासीनं महाभुजम ॥ ३-१५७-१८ ॥
'Then, Krishna spoke these words to Bhimasena, who was seated in a solitary part of the mountain region, in a comfortable place, with his mighty arms.' ॥ 3-157-18 ॥

'O best of the Bharata race, in the presence of all creatures, these five-colored flowers, borne by the powerful wind of Suparna, are falling in great abundance upon the river Aswaratha.' ॥ 3-157-19 ॥

suparNAnilavegena zavasanena mahAbalAta paJca varNAni pAtyante puSpANi bharatarSabha paratyakSaM sarvabhUtAnAM nadIma azvarathAM parati ॥ 3-157-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptखाण्डवे सत्यसंधेन भरात्रा तव नरेश्वर गन्धर्वॊरगरक्षांसि वासवश च निवारितः हता मायाविनश चॊग्रा धनुः पराप्तं च गाण्डिवम ॥ ३-१५७-२० ॥
'In the Khandava forest, thy high-souled brother, steadfast in his vows, overcame the Gandharvas, the Nagas, and even Vasava himself, slaying fierce Rakshasas, and also obtaining the mighty bow Gandiva.' ॥ 3-157-20 ॥

khANDave satyasaMdhena bharAtrA tava narezvara gandharvòragarakSAMsi vAsavaza ca nivAritaH hatA mAyAvinaza cògrA dhanuH parAptaM ca gANDivama ॥ 3-157-20 ॥
