आर्ष्टिषेणाश्रमे तेषां वसतां वै महात्मनाम अगच्छन बहवॊ मासाः पश्यतां महद अद्भुतम ॥ ३-१५७-११ ॥
'Many months passed by while the great souls, the high-minded ones, stayed at the hermitage of Arshtishena, during which time they witnessed many extraordinary and wondrous events.' ॥ 3-157-11 ॥
english translation
तैस तत्र रममाणैश च विहरद्भिश च पाण्डवैः परीतिमन्तॊ महाभागा मुनयश चारणास तथा ॥ ३-१५७-१२ ॥
'As the Pandavas were joyfully sporting there, a group of contented, vow-observing Munis and Charanas, all of high fortune and pure souls, came to see them.' ॥ 3-157-12 ॥

आजग्मुः पाण्डवान दरष्टुं सिद्धात्मानॊ यतव्रताः तैस तैः सह कथाश चक्रुर दिव्या भरतसत्तमाः ॥ ३-१५७-१३ ॥
'The Pandavas, O best of the Bharatas, were visited by the Siddhas, those beings of perfected souls and strict vows, who came to see them. The Pandavas, conversing with them, engaged in divine discussions, exchanging words of great significance.' ॥ 3-157-13 ॥

ततः कतिपयाहस्य महाह्रद निवासिनम ऋद्धिमन्तं महानागं सुपर्णः सहसाहरत ॥ ३-१५७-१४ ॥
'After several days had passed, Suparna, with sudden force, carried off a mighty Naga dwelling in the vast lake.' ॥ 3-157-14 ॥

पराकम्पत महाशैलः परामृद्यन्त महाद्रुमाः ददृशुः सर्वभूतानि पाण्डवाश च तद अद्भुतम ॥ ३-१५७-१५ ॥
'At that moment, the immense mountain began to tremble, and the colossal trees were shattered. And all the creatures and the Pandavas witnessed the wonder.' ॥ 3-157-15 ॥
